Which Capture Software?

Hi Forum,

I will be getting my ASI120MC early this week. I have read very nice remarks and articles about this camera before I ordered one. I'm looking very much forward to getting first light which brings up my question to the forum.

Which of the two software programs provided on the disk are best for capture? Please give the Pros and Cons.

Hi Doug... Sharp cap is easier / stabler but firecapture has more options and support for ROI, have a play see what you think

Does either software support dark frame subtract "on the fly"? I think Amcap might, but I can't find the feature in Sharpcap, and cannot find the .exe file to install Firecapture.
