OK, this was a mosaic of 4 images and although I've sharpened it a bit the right-hand side of the moon is slightly out of focus. This is due to the tilt adapter that I use for solar work being at a wide angle (and I don't want to keep screwing it on and off the camera). At f.7.5 and at full resolution the tilt is beginning to have an effect on differential focusing. I noticed that the adapter was aligned with the diagonal of the chip. I have re-aligned it with the short axis of the chip, which may help. There is also a possibility that I may be able to reduce the angle and still get rid of newton's rings in the solar work, but I haven't had time to try it.
Nevertheless I am astonished at the sensitivity of the camera. I was using a 742 IR pass filter which cuts out A LOT of light, and yet I managed 30fps with zero gain. :)
