Good evening users/ tech team,
Quick question for the team.
I have been really enjoying my telescope and astronomy lately, i started imaging last year predominantly using a 16 inch F4.5 Dobsonian and EQ platform to do planetary imaging and a little bit of DSO work, getting some reasonable images that people enjoy looking at on Twitter.
I've since gone mad and ordered a 24" f3.3 dob that i will be using to image with, I would like to ask the team before it arrives does the general rule of pixel scale still apply to 600mm mirrors with a 2000mm FL or is it a formula that has been developed mainly for your generic sizes of DSO scopes (60mm to 300mm)?
I have been mucking around with my Planetary cam with 2.9um pixels (way to small with formula) on my 400mm 1850mmFL dobsonian and like the results im getting?
TLDR; What DSO camera would ZWO recommend for a 24" f3.3 scope with a 2000mm FL?
Apologies for coming here to ask this question but i couldnt DM on twitter because @ZWOASI doesnt follow me. Thankyou for any feedback in advance.
Kind regards
Damien
