Hi all I'm having a strange issue while using my ASI 294 MC Pro camera. It seems that the gain is stuck at 120 regardless the drivers, settings and even the PC I'm using. I tried by changing usb cable, laptop, by updating the drivers (ASCOM and native) but I can see no differences in the images or darks when pushing the gain from 120 to 300 or lowering it from 300 to 10. I tried different softwares too (Sharpcap, AstroArt, ASI Studio) but always got the same results. Even by changing the offset, no differences can be seen. Any clues ? Clear skies,!
piero65 Please test the camera in ASIStudio, and you can check the histogram and value to see if there is a difference. You also can share the fit files with us.
