The other night I did something really st__id. While running the mount I unplugged the HC (hand controller) because the wire from the HC to the ASIAir Pro was too short. I was concerned that the HC would pull on the scope, throwing guiding off. Well, after I unplugged the HC, the mount pointed in the wrong direction when I entered M13 in the ASIAir app. I got the same error with any other object I entered in the app. So I'm thinking, why even use the HC? I can just point to objects with my ASKAir Pro instead. So if I may ask, do we really need the HC to be connected to run the CEM26 properly?
