I have read through several posts related to connecting AAR to Gemini 2 but did not gain any information on how to solve my issue.
I have an AAR (ASIAIR pro) pro, I used it with an Ioptron mount quite successfully, but now I have a Losmandy with Gemini 2. The two units are connected via a new USB3 cable, and the ASIAIR and Gemini connection does not happen. I get an error message that indicates ASIAIR is expecting a serial connection. The most puzzling is that ASIAIR only gives me two choices for making the connection between the mount and the ASIAIR. Either the serial connection or an ethernet cable. There is no selection available for a USB connection.
Losmandy support says they are plug and play and that the issue is with ASIAIR.
I know others control their Losmandy mounts through AAR, so hopefully, someone can help me.
