Last night I decided to point my WO GT 71 and ASI294 mc pro at the exact point that the meteor shower was supposed to originate from. I wanted to shoot video in 1080, AVI. I got the coordinates from Stellarium. It was cloudy the night of the 30th. Never saw a single streak in the sky last night. BUT that's not the problem. It took me awhile to get the video set to recording the surrounding stars. I ended up with a gain of about 500 and1 frame per second. I recorded for 30 minutes while tracking only. The stars remained in their place on my phone. However, when I attempt to play the video the screen is black. I opened it in in Davinci Resolve and once again the recoding plays, but the screen is black. I increased the exposure in the video app and the blackness just got whiter and no stars. However, the associated jpeg showed the stars. Yes, my lens cap and focusing mask were off. Very puzzled. Ideas? Thanks
