Error during preview (0x80040209)

Hi Sam, I just received both of my ASI120MC.

AMCap gives me error: ERROR during capture, error code=0x80040209

SharpCAP gives me error: Error during preview (0x80040209)

I am running Windows 8.

Installed the latest iriver 2.0.0.909.

Tried both USB ports.

The camera ZWO ASI120MC camera is listed in the device manager with a warning (exclamation).

Tried both cameras.

Same problem, need help to resolve the issue!

Not sure if this helps or not ? But the mc version works on my win 8 lappy, I'm using the previous driver though (I think)

Try uninstall and use the previous driver and install driver before plugging in cam.

Also make sure your not on usb3 ?

Actually, just checked, its the name driver as you're using. The exclamation mark indicates the driver isn't installed correctly. Try uninstalling and then running the installer as administrator maybe

I suggest you can click the ZWO ASI120MC camera and choose driver update

"Browse computer..."

then "select from device list..."
