Hi there, I have a small android device called the Retroid Pocket 2 which I am using the ASIAIR app on.
It has a screen and built-in controls that can (with software from the Google Play store called Button Mapper) be easily have those gamepad inputs rebound as keyboard inputs.
If there was even simply a way to map some keyboard controls of the ASIAIR app I am pretty sure I can get it fully functioning so that I can use the joystick (bound as keyboard buttons) and have tactile feedback on the RA / Dec buttons and shoulder buttons to switch modes, etc (it also has s touchscreen so works there so far just fine). I personally find it just very difficult to control the RA/Dec without a physical set of buttons since the screen has no haptic feedback (a well known issue with on-screen controls in the gaming industry, and an accessibility issue)
Allowing input remapping is also a really great accessibility feature that would greatly expand the cusomisability and compatibility of the app with so many more devices (noting one other user has asked for gamepad support which they should also be able to make work if this were available)
Hopefully this is something we might see soon! Loving the app so far 🙂
