External USB stick

I installed a brand new 512GB USB stick in my AA+ and took my first pictures. I was expecting them to be on the stick but per "Image Management" they are internal to the AA+. I don't have a USB C > USB cable so they are stuck there (the whole point of buying a USB stick that can be removed...)
1) How to force images to the USB stick instead of eMMC memory?
2) Any way to do that after-the-fact so I don't have to buy a cable just for this instance?

In the AAP you select the storage between USB and micro USB where there is the firmware
with AA+ I have no idea

Nevermind, trial and error found the answers (shame there isn't better documentation for this)

Hi,

in the storage tab (second right on top) you should see your USB media as available storage. To select it, just push the USB symbol on the left. It will change its color to green. That should be it.
