I have been using my AAP (with an EQ6R and CEM70) without issue for quite some time. About a month ago, I realized that I needed to update its firmware in order to recognize my Canon RP ... so I updated. Ever since, the AAP has lost its mind. Then again, perhaps it is me ....
It seems that every function and motion is backwards/reversed. In PA, the AAP says to go "down" when it needs to (and this I have confirmed) go "up." If it says to adjust to the east, I have to adjust to the west.
Plate Solving no longer works, even after mount "zero" and "home" positions are reset and confirmed; this after getting PA within 30". The main camera has a proper focal length, and I get excellent focus with the EAF.
When I use the new plate solving feature (forgot its name) and hit "go-to," the mount just slews back to its home position.
Also, last night, the AAP repeatedly was shutting off and restarting on its own (not "auto reconnecting).
Any help is appreciated, thanks.
