When using ASIAIR together with EAF I found that the focal position is not included in the FITS header of the images. This is unfortunate since some methods for assessing backfocus and tilt problems require a sequence of images with different focal distances to be taken. Programms like ASTAP read the FITS headers of a such a sequence and estimate backfocus and tilt automatically from the images and the FOCUSPOS field.
So it would be very helpful if ASIAIR would write the FOCUSPOS field and it cant be very difficult to do since information is readlily available on the ASIAIR.
