Hi,
It was a charm of using asiair plus with Ioptron GEM28 before system has almost automatically updated to 9.53 release.
So what went wrong:
- no plate solving - thus no correct goto functionality - the targets are several degrees off ANY time I plate solve via asiair
- no (at least feasible) object check when telescope is finally pointed to selected goto target
- multiple issues with polar alignment - for example - the sensitivity of the plate solving during final az knob fine-tuning is not linear - it looks like plate solving calc is out of order
- I need to assign zero point in GEM28 manually thru handset every time I switch asiair / gem28 combo in - otherwise asiair moves telescope to unknown direction
I spent several nights trying to figure out how to solve these issue - and I REALLY appreciate if you issue patch to this 9.53 release ASAP.
PS the wifi of my asiair plus operates not 100% the way i wish it works
