Due to persistent clouds over the past few months, I've been a bit more brave about the weather I set up in. This has led to a few scenarios where clouds rolled in, and my ASIAIR Pro wound up going stupid and pointing the scope at the ground, or running my CEM60 to a limit. Could a setting be added to have the mount hold position when guide stars are lost for x seconds, or when plate solving fails y times? Then, using the guide scope as a star detector, when guiding is possible again, plate solve, and resume imaging?
