Ok, I admit I am totally confused with the entire DST and ASIAIR thing. I have read so many ZWO forum posts and Cloudy Nights posts that all seem to offer something different or not applicable to my mount and hand controller.
I have an EVO 9.25 with Starsense ASIAIR PRO FW 1.9 and am located in the Eastern Timezone, currently under DST. It's 10pm EDT tonight. I start the Starsense Auto Align. ASIAIR is connected to the HC by mini USB to USB cable, but powered off. What do I enter for Time, and Time Zone when I set DST to Off to make it play nice with the ASIAIR?
Is it 10:00pm and GMT -4 or
9:00pm and GMT -5 or either is fine?
Do I need to change the time on my iPad which is running the ASIAIR PRO app or just leave it alone?
I know LST on ASIAIR and SS controller ultimately have to match, but does the Starsense Controller display the current LST? I have an IPAD app to show the current LST.
When I complete the alignment and perform a quick GOTO to Vega, I guess I will know if I have the correct time/Timezone info. When I then power on the ASIAIR will it then send something to the HC or could it care less about the HC and I should do all subsequent GOTOs in ASIAIR?
