BJin 13.2Vdc @2A max adaptor
Hi Ben,
That current capacity is barely sufficient for the ASIAIR itself. Especially if you have thinner and long wires between the power supply and the ASIAIR. Try a power supply with higher capacity (I use a 25A supply myself since I also power other things like Ethernet switches and powered USB hub; but a 6A supply would probably be sufficient -- ASIAIR really cannot switch loads that total much more than that anyway).
Even with 18 AWG copper wires, at 6+ milliohms per foot, the voltage drop at 3A is 40 millivolts per foot (you have to account for both the source and the ground return drops). If you have a 10 foot cable, the drop at the typical ASIAIR usage of 3A, corresponds to a whopping 0.4 volts drop. So, use real 18AWG or thicker wires (not the fake Amazon "18 AWG" wires which are more like 20 AWG; so be careful when you shop -- there are good wires at Amazon, but they are not cheap, so you much as well go to sources like PowerWerx).
By the way, when picking power supplies, try not to exceed 13.75 volts for use with the 3rd generation ASIAIR; or find one with an internal potentiometer that you can adjust. I had two of the ASIAIR cut off by itself, and when I checked, the high voltage cutoff threshold of those two ASIAIR were 13.75v instead of 15v as advertised by ZWO.
