First Jupiter, ASI120MC / 150 Mak

Jup 9-12.pngHad my first decent crack at Jupiter with the new cam, must admit i'm quite pleased.

60 % of 1800 frames gain 40% brightness 8 gamma 50 fps max 640 x 480

pipp, then autostakkert, then registax wavelets, then cs5 to tweak colour / contrast

only managed one run then the mist rolled in ...

That is a cracking Jupiter shot! Nice focussing too

I think you can set the brightness to 0 when shoot jupiter and its moons because which is bright enough!

Cheers Sam, it was a rushed run with the mist rolling in, I'll try different settings when the weather is better (if it ever gets better :-) )

You could use the RGB shift function in Registax to fix the atmospheric refraction (blue / red arcs).
