Last night I had first light DSO imaging with the ZWO ASI120MM. I had the C8 at f 2.5 (using the 0.5 reducer at the end of a barlow tube). Naturally I wanted a fairly bright object to begin with. M51 was at a low elevation so I tried M82. This is 60x10 sec subs. Gain was set at 51, gamma 50. I also took 20 darks but I found that I got a better result using the darks to create a bad pixel map in Nebulosity which I could then use to calibrate. I have added the colour data from a previous shot using the Atik Titan (I haven't got around to using filters yet).

Next I tried M97. Again 60x10secs. Colour from the Atik.
