Customs charge

Hi I have just purchased a ZWO colour camera and I have been tracking the parcel, it has arrived in the UK and I have just received a phone call stating that I will have to pay £72 customs fee charge!

has anyone else had to pay this fee?

£72! That's disgusting. Bought mind 2h so didn't happen. Sorry Keith, it is a nice camera though

You can get import duties and taxes if you buy something outside EU. Check if the package value is correct and not to high.

No problem with paying import duties etc. Just the amount!

1/3 of of the declared value or bit more depending on the tax levels. That seems to be right for color ASI120 :)
