224 Protective Window?

Does (or did) the 224 come WITHOUT a protective window? Got mine in March of 21 and it doesn't have one, just the rubber o-ring.

I've always just kept the 1.25" eyepiece adapter on it with an UV/IR filter. But looking around the web site, I see there is both AR and UV/IR protective windows available. Wondering if I'm missing something?

It has a D21 AR protective window.
Did you disassemble the camera before?

No. Though I recently had to re-mount the front face of the camera since it had backed off a bit (while unscrewing a tight 1.25" adapter) and the o-ring got wedged and stuck.

Until that moment though, I didn't realize the front face unscrewed.
