There have been some posts on this forum in which people have problems with the AM5 mount. I have seen little to no replies from ZWO to help us figure out how to fix them. Should we use the Facebook page instead? Or would you prefer opening a ticket with your support department? I thought that this forum was a great way for the owners to help you in updating and fixing your software. When you do reply, the answers are vague and without details. For instance, you have upgraded the ASCOM software at least twice since I got the mount yet you never announced it on this forum. I have no clue as to what firmware edition you are using. I cannot find anything on the website. Please make that information available more easily in the future. You need to fix the manual. It is still only an image and there is no text to search. In addition, if you download the manual from your site, it is not a pdf, but a ".0" file as you forgot to add ".pdf" to the end of the file. The manual is also inadequate. For instance, when I had to manually enter latitude and longitude in the ASCOM software, it required that it be in specific nomenclature. The manual had nothing about how to go about doing that and I wasted an hour trying to figure out how to put in the number correctly. The manual has nothing on what, if anything, can be done to ensure the safety of our equipment. No meridian flip info. No info on what the ASCOM software syncs to. And so on.
Please spend more time and resources on these issues. Because, even though the mount works well most of the time, it still has many problems that need to be addressed.
