Push notifications

Hi, it would be great to have push notifications sent when an event occurs such as :

start/stop a sequence in autorun or plan mode
loosing a guiding star for X seconds
loosing the connection to the mount or any device connected
…

I’m sure there is plenty of events that I didn’t think of, but I don't have AA’P for that long so…

if i may add… i would like to have native notifications for additional events like

start auto focus routine (including reason like filter change, or temperature change)
filter change from/to
storage almost full
camera cooling reached desired cooling level
meridian flip before/after
…

Use-case: if i am inside the house or lying in bed and i wear my Apple Watch, i would like to see the native iOS notifications on the watch's display (and all other iOS devices i own), so i can change to my phone/table/computer for more details. Same of course for all Android users with its equivalent techology.

Please make sure to provide a well-balanced amount of notifications. For example if you send one for every time the mount dithers, it would be overkill and people likely freak-out. 😃

It is really very uncomfortable to use the AF process, it is slow and you do not know when it has finished if you are doing other things, a continuous acoustic warning and flash on the screen would be nice.

It is also a big mistake not to have an acoustic and visual warning when the guide loses the star, I have lost more than one session because of this.

The native notifications do create a sound if your device is not muted or the sound-option in the app-specific notification settings are not turned off. So you should be covered quite well by the notification feature if it ever will be implemented by ZWO.

And in regards to screen flashing: at least on iOS this is already possible. In Settings -> Accessibility -> Audio/Visual -> LED-Flash when notified (text might differ, as i am using a different language than english). So again, notifications will cover it all.

Unfortunately i can't tell if it's possible on Android as well.
