Thanks, Astro47.
FireCapture is slightly hard to understand, especially the parameters associated to the "filter" selection and to the "profiles". But it's quick, perfectly suited to the ASI120MM performances and possibilities, and I LOVE the real-time dark subtraction. In adition, it can stack frames on the run to see dim objects. Time-lapse became very easy, too.
And the file names compliant with WinJupOs is a brilliant idea (for planets of course).
It lacks some functions like QGVideo (from QHYCCD): a strong contrast enhancement to help focusing on planets/moon (FC's "gamma" is not as good), and real-time colorization for H-Alpha imaging with audience. But one can manage these lacks.
It has been told that FC 1) requires JAVA and 2) is slow. That's 1) doubtable (perhaps a hidden run-time?), and 2) false. If you stop the resident softwares, of course.
In a few words, FC requires several nights of practice. But it deserves it.
Nicolas.
