I remember that there were some requests from users who want to be able to distinguish between two EAFs. I use two EAF myself in my typical set up, one for my main OTA and one for my guide scope.
The current EAF now allows you to append an alphanumeric name to the "EAF" name. I don't know if you need the current EAF firmware or not, but you can edit the name of the current EAF in ASI Studio.
In the past, my recommendation was to use very different EAF step positions to distinguish between EAFs.
If you are using ASIAIR, there is nothing in ASIAIR to let you edit that name. However, once you edit the names in ASI Studio, those names will show up in the ASIAIR Focuser Settings drop down menu.
There is however a bug in ASIAIR. While the drop down menu will show different names and allow you to select them, the field that shows the selected EAF always shows the first EAF. The selection is still correct, just the displayed name shows the wrong EAF. I've already reported the bug (which they will probably call "optimization" instead of a bug fix) directly to ZWO.
