c0rum I need help to attach the EAF to a TSA102.
To get maximum clearance for the long EAF plate, first remove the slow focus knob (the one in your second picture). It is held by a single crossed headed axial screw (not the usual grub screw). Takahashi had threaded the stainless steel shaft :-). You might not need to remove the screw on yours, since you have a larger diameter focuser than I have on the FOA-60Q.
The ZWO Takahashi adapter only works with the FSQ (and a couple of other Takahashi focusers), so no need to buy that.
This is what I did with my FOA-60Q (looks similar to your TSA102's focuser). Notice the tapered stainless steel shaft, where the knob had been removed.
You need to remove that screw with the two small dimpled holes (that is visible in your second picture) which holds the cover to the Rack and Pinion drive. To remove mine, I used a lens spanner.
You then bolt the long EAF plate to the OTA using that location where you removed the screw, seen above with a socket headed stainless steel bolt. I don't remember the thread size now, but it is metric, since I have boxes of various metric screws of different diameter and length.
Shown in the photo above, I replaced the ZWO shorter mounting plate by a custom adapter plate (I had it machined at a Seattle web machine shop) so that the EAF does not stick down below the dovetail plate. I did the same thing with my FSQ-85, shown here with the ZWO Takahashi plate instead of the standard long plate that comes with all EAF:
If you use the plate that comes with the EAF, the EAF will be turned 180 degrees on the shaft, so the EAF will stick out to the right in my first picture. As long as you don't mind the EAF sticking below the dovetail plate, the standard kit of mounting brackets that come with the standard EAF should just work, unlike the FSQ focuser, which requires extra long mounting screws.
