The mount is powered on at its index position. The mount and the Asiair are powered by home current through 12v converter. Power is not the issue. I’ve tried many variations for start up ,
Power up the mount , one star alignment, return to home using HC, Power up the Asiair, check that mount info is correct in Asiair, send the mount to home using Asiair ( sometimes ok sometimes not ok) mount will move off the index marks and need to be reset. Try PA sometimes works, sometimes won’t rotate after the first plate solve. I’ve submitted many log reports never seems to matter. I have other issues at Meridian flip, which always screws up, that I’ve reported many times. Once I get through these annoying issues the mount tracks perfectly and the session produces good images. And yes if I send the mount back to home position using the HC it goes back to its index marks.
