extension tubes

Hello Everyone,

I tried shooting the great orion nebula (M42) and could not get it all in the shot. I was using my shortest focal length scope (102/F7) with a 0.5 focal reducer, so the next thing to try is a SLR lens.

I have M42 lenses, so this is the easiest route. What I need, though, is an extension tube so I can reach focus.

Does anybody know what length tube I need or if a bespoke product is available, please?

You can easily find a M42 extension tubes set on Ebay. They usualy come in a set of 3 different sizes so you should have a cobination that gives the right focus. They cost under 10$
