Camera making Eqmod lose connection?

Hello,

Loving the camera so far :) !

However I thought I would use it with eqmod for the first time (make use of the better pointing accuracy) and whenever I start the camera, eqmod loses connection with the mount?

This doesn't happen with the ascom drivers, but does with firecapture and sharpcap.

I'm using a Samsung RV511 laptop and no extension leads/hubs. (I have tried plugging the eqdir into a powered hub but this made no difference).

The eqdir works fine on its own and so does the camera just not together.

Possibly a bandwidth issue?

thanks for the kind words of the camera.

I think eqmod only need very few bandwidth to communicate with mount.

so its wired eqmod loss connection when you plugin the camera.

I am not sure why. maybe somebody else can help

I use my ASI120MM with EQMod all the time for lunar and solar imaging. Use 3 different laptops running Win7 Home Pemium, Win7 Pro and Win8.1 using FireCapture and SharpCap- never the slightest problem. EQMod needs very little bandwidth and I have never had a crash caused by another connection.

I have exactly the same problem with dell win7 64 bit and sony 32 bit

its ok on the xp machine though

wish I could fathom it out
