Hi all:
This is my first post in this forum, and I want write telling us my guide settigs problem. Since a week ago my guide camera was a 120MM mini, and guide without issues, with DEC and RA error below .60”. Last night I change the guide camera, and installed a 290MM mini. First I uso the same settings as with 120MM (Calibration step 1350ms, Max DEC Duration 800 and Max RA duration 1000ms). I saw very high errors both in DEC and RA (higher than 50’. I tried to change the values, stting 2000ms in all three, and playing with RA and DEC agrr, but nothing, the error always betwen 50`and 30´or higher. What I am doing wrong?. My guide scope is a Svbony 50mm f4 (190mm), and my main scope is a Skywatcher 200/800 newtonian.
Any help will be apreciated. Thanks in advance.
Carlos
