What do I need and How.

I've never done photography out the back of my SCTs. I use Hyperstar and I have couple questions I hope other can answer.

I want to use the 120MC on my 8 inch Edge HD scope... do I just put the camera into the diagonal?

Do I need a barlow or any filters to get good planet and moon shots?

Don't use diagonals - not needed and may decrease image quality. For Moon shots f/10 will be good (no Barlow). Infrared filter will be most welcomed (but for a mono, not color camera). For planetary imaging with a color *MC you can start without a Barlow and if the seeing is good add a weak one.
