Check if you had set the 294MM to Bin 1.
Compare the image sizes between the MC and the MM cameras. I suspect that you have set the 294MM to Bin 1, and thus producing images that require 4 times more RAM than the images from the 294MC.
If you are using ASIAIR, the bottom left corner of the Preview window should show the image size.
I suspect that your Android tablet is starved for RAM, and it started swapping to flash memory (which is much slower). iOS usually handles swapping better than Android, even when it runs out of RAM and needs to swap. That is probably why your iPhone does not have a problem.
If so, you just need a tablet with more RAM, or a tablet (like iOS) that can handle swapping better.
What you see has to do with the poor way that the ASIAIR handles memory. If it had done memory management properly (for example, how AstroPixelProcessor handles low the RAM case), what you see should not be happening.
