Hi we had a clear night so I set up my rig which consists of an am5 on a Celestron AVX tripod, ASIAIR pro, zwo 294 mc camera and a skywatcher evo guide scope. I charged my Jackery battery until completely charged up and connected the mount too the ASIAIR pro. When I tried to do a PA the scope only slewed about 14 degrees, I returned the mount to its home position and tried PA again, and again in only slewed a few degrees, I thought that maybe the sky was not dark enough even though there were quite a few stars found. Would it be best to power the ASIAIR pro from its own battery or was it due to not dark enough skies? Can anyone advise please.
