Moon First Quarter (Basic Mosaic) ASI034MC

Here is my first attempt at putting together a (basic) mosaic of the moon using my ASI034MC. It was a bit of a clumsy effort on a clear then cloudy night - and there was a fair bit of "shimmering". I took a number of capture videos and processed the best 6 using the same settings in Registax 6. I then tried to improve them a little and standardise the colour/contrast/brightness in Photoshop. Unfortunately I do not have any dedicated panoramic/stitching software as yet so I used Paint and pasted the images in - trying hard to line them up. This is the result.

ASI034MC straight into a 130mm Newtonian - motor driven.

6 x 10 second exposures - varying stacks - lowest 400 Average 839.

Try Microsoft ICE, it should do a really good job with minimum effort.

how do you balance each image so it has the same brightness?

Looks good. Here is a terminator mosaic using my asi034mc, a nexstar 4se, orion shorty 2x barlow, and iMerge free stitching software.
