ASI120MC vs. ASI120MM

Hi all. I'm new to the forums. I recently purchased a Celestron Nexstar 8SE. I'd like to buy one of the ZWO cams to begin learning AP. I will probably focus mostly on planets and the moon, but I'd like to dabble with DSO's as well. I have an alt-az mount, so I know they won't turn out great, but I'll give it a shot anyway.

So I'm trying to decide between the ASI120MC and ASI120MM. What are the pros and cons of each? As a beginner, is one easier to get good results with than the other?

Mono vs color is a long story.

In short color gives color planetary images easier, while mono can give better results if you put more effort in the imaging (playing with filters), and will be better for lunar/solar imaging. Mono will be also handy for very short exposure DS imaging ;)

Mono is "always" better, depending if you want to do more work to make it better than color.

so beginner always choose it :)
