Help... new ASI120MM owner

Hey,

Bought myself a ASI120MM this weekend, and already knew it wouldnt work nativly with OSX.. so i have installed VMWARE, and Windows7...

problem is, every single application i use, just gives me a black screen..

I just re installed Windows7, installed the drivers, pluged the camera in and it found and installed the drivers.. i then ran ASI120MM Camera application, set Preview on, and did a capture.. but everythings black!

Any ideas?

Just an update,

thought i would try another app.. Parallels... same problem..

interestingly, in Windows7 using Parallels, it exposes the inbuilt i-sight camera.. that works fine with say, SharpCap but the 120MM isnt... black screen!

Going to try it on my windows pc, to rule out using VMWare/Parallels.

Worked with my normal windows 7 desktop... So at least I know it's not the camera! Any ideas why it doesn't work on VMware/Parallels?

there is some compitable problem with vmware under mac OS

but we can update the firmware to fix this problem

I'm having same issue... VMWare on Mack OS... running X{ Pro latest service pack. Hope you don't mind if I send an email also.

the new compitable firmware is not as fast as the old one in some computers.

but more compitable
