Hi all,

Trying to use the cam (120MC) with a commande line interface under linux, I'm having some trouble with the binning : what's the way to use it ?

If I do "setImageFormat(1280, 960, 2,IMG_RGB24);" what is the size of the buffer I'll need to give to the driver ? 1280x960 or 640x480 ?

And is binning working with all image format and color mode ?

Hi Sam,

In the examples, there's nothing more than "setImageFormat(width, height, 1, IMG_Y8)"

I can't find examples with bining neither RAW8 or RW16. And I got problems with these three. RAW8 or 16 give me a picture filled with 0. with Y8 and RGB24 eveything is working right.

In Yaaca from Christian RAW8 and RAW16 are working but I can't figure out why it isn't in my program...

That's why I would appreciate to have the detail of the image array that is providing ASICamera.o.

Hi Ronan

you should call setImageFormat(640, 480, 2,IMG_RGB24); to setup bin2 mode

and the buffer size should be 640X480*3 for RGB24 mode

and 640*480*1 for RAW8 mode
