Hello, as some peoples it seems that I'm having fan troubles on my lovely camera. First time I really saw it was just after buying a second hand C8 and while collimating I was seeing 2 stars, than discovered that if I turn of the cooling it "fix" the problem... the other aspect was the noise, with that tube depth it was really annoying and so I was thinking that the C8 air volume is just perfect for resonance at this frequency. Then I just sold it back (I was not fan of this OTA and it was too big)
I also have a C6 on which I use almost all the time that camera, sometimes I just hear the vibration a little but yesterday I was experimenting to use the 294 as a planetary camera with a barlow and then it was reallllllly noisy, so I think I really just should get this fan fixed as for sure, if I hear it so well, it means that I'm having a big rumble trouble...
I've seen some peoples changing the fan for the original one, somes for a fractal design, somes using damping pads, to be honest I'd like to get the best solution possible, what do you suggest me ?
