Hi,
I'm using a brandnew AM-5 controlled via the ASI mount ascom driver 6.5.6.0.
- When the driver starts, the field for adjusting the guide rate
(in the "Advanced" department) is always empty.
- I could choose a guide rate, but the mount disregards this, it is
always using "0.5", and the driver is alway reporting "0.5".
- The driver reports the guidingrate as a fraction of the sidereal rate,
for example "0.5". This is strange, since - corresponding to the ascom standard -
it has to be reported in degrees/sec, that means "0.00417807421630556" in this case.
I suppose, that pulseguiding could fail under these circumstances,
if the guiding program would calculate the corrections based on the
reported guiding rate of "0.5 deg/sec" (much too small corrections).
Is there a chance that a new fixed version is coming in the near future?
Matt
