Autoguiding with Star Adventurer GTi and ASiair Plus

Hello... are there unresolved problems with guiding with this combination? Should I be using USB A to USB B cable to connect the mount to the ASIair, or should I be using EQmod (USB A to RJ45) cable? Guide scope will be 30F4 and camera will be ASI120MM Mini (connected to ASiair via supplied USB C cable).

Hi, i have Asiair Plus, Staradventurer GTi with usb (printer) cable and a 30-120 guide scope, ASI224MC.

I also have the Asiair plus and a Star Adventurer GTi. I'm new in this guiding topic and have some problems. How do the asiair know where the camera is pointing to? Before I worked with guiding, everything works with the sky watcher app and its 3-star alignment. But I have no such possibility with the asiair app. Or do I misunderstand something here? Btw, I'm using a SLR camera with a telephoto lens. So I have no possibility to see the actual pictures in the app because these are saved to the cameras SD card. I hope you, or someone else, can help me out, very apperciated.

Hi...
after the polar aligment you can set a destination on the map... telescope will rotete to your target then will take an image. Asiair can recognize stars on the image and can correct the position automatically

Yes, just after polar align pick a target from the catalog or your planetarium program and ASiair will slew to and center it. Tracking will then start automatically. You can then start guiding.
