maplearn what are you using for auto guiding as you'll have to take that into account. Not sure if this is 100% correct, but works great for me. I set calibration steps so that it can cover the calibration distance in ~ 5 steps. I think I have mine set to 5000, but yours will be different. Start with the default and see how many steps it takes to cover the calibration and adjust from there.
