Input custom RA/DEC?

Tapping on the RA/DEC coordinates in Preview brings up a full width, white rectangle at bottom of the screen, but no way to input numbers.
Is there another way to put in custom RA/DEC?

On iOS, that sheet in the Preview window is not blank, but includes three vertical numerical scrollers and a +/- button. Just use your fingers to scroll to the values you need. When you select Right Ascension, the three scrollers represent hours, minutes and seconds, and for declination they represent degrees, arc minutes and arc seconds.

That is also how you select the RA and DEC for a custom target.

When I tap on the RA/DEC numbers shown at the white arrow in Screen 1, I get screen 2 with a white band at the bottom. Is this where the number scroll is supposed to show up?

Yes. The "white band" is where the scrollers are. This is what I see (all sky camera, cloudy daytime) on a 12.9" iPadPro, iPadOS 16.1.1, running ASIAIR v2.0 (mount selected as "Demo Interface"):

What tablet are you running? If it is a (lack of) RAM issue, try rebooting your tablet from scratch, then launch the ASIAIR app without launching anything else. For good measure, delete the app, and download a fresh copy from the App Store to see it anything changes. Try switching the mount to "Demo Interface" too, to see if it is mount dependent.
