How to auto-focus with temprature

Hi All,
I am a newbie to EAF. Running it with MaximDL 6 and FocusMax 5. The auto focus routine within Maxim DL and through FocusMax all work fine.

I was under the impression that with the temp sensor, they system can pause imaging when needed, do an auto-focus and continue. However, I have not figured out how to do this. When the focuser is connected Maxim DL shows me both the position and the temp read out. However, the Temp Tracking checkbox is grayed out.

Does anyone have any guidance or ideas for me?
