ASI220MM Mini Maximum Exposure Time

ZWO’s website lists the maximum exposure time for the ASI220MM Mini as 10 seconds. That might make sense for guiding, but some people use its predecessor, the ASI290MM, for electronically assisted Astronomy (EAA). For DSOs, it would be very useful to be able to take longer exposures, and it seems other manufacturers are not limiting exposure times for this sensor. Could ZWO confirm the maximum exposure time and explain the limitation?

I'm also interested in learning why ZWO chose to limit the max exposure on the 220MM mini to 10 secs, given that the 290MM mini is used by a number of people not only as a guide camera, but quite successfully for EAA. For EAA purposes, they will often take longer than 10 sec sub-exposures, e.g. for doing H-alpha EAA. Perhaps ZWO is not aware of the potential utility of this new camera for EAA?
