Flat Flip

Showing in Asiair preview a flat with an artifact on the sensor. It's is on the picture upper right corner.
When the same fits is opened in Astroart the artifact is now in the lower right corner. Why is that, and witch way is the correct one.

The image is flipped that's why you see the spot in the opposite corner - relative to the image orientation the spot is in exactly the same position. Stacking software has no troubles dealing with flipped images so don't worry about it.

Thank you. If it won't affect stacking then all, light, dark, Flats must be flip'ed. If I want to find the artifact on the sensor I have to know the flip.
Do you know the reason to this flip in Asiair. If I mix Darks from asiair with Darks from another source it will be wrong. Better off with no flip...

Lerager Meridian flip - when you are imaging a target and that target passes the meridian, the mount will do a flip in order to continue tracking the target.

Darks have nothing to do with Meridian Flip - they will always be the same regardless the orientation of the camera/scope.

Mixing darks from AA with other darks is not a good idea; I had horrible results when I tried to stack images from StellarMate with darks from AA because of different offset values. My advice, take enough darks at different settings and make a library.

Hi, no I'am not worry about median flip.
But the way software show a fit file.
If I use a software and send the fits to another using an other viewer... The picture Must be the same. And this is not what I get.
I then have to inspect the fits keyword ROWORDER. Maybe ZWO don't use it correct.
