Wifi replacement

I have a basic understanding of ethernet, routers and wifi issues. What I don't understand with the AA+ is if I need to attach an ethernet cable to the AA+, does that replace its Wifi with my home wifi? It's a bit confusing. Any help with this question may answer several others I have.

No，it will not replace。if you connect AAP to your router，APP will be a devce of your router and get the IP addr of your router distribute。Your could connect AAP by this IP。and you could alse connect AAP by the wifi of itself。
