Unfortunately I am not able to work in MaxIm with QHY9 camera as main detector and ASI120MM for guiding using ASCOM drivers. After connecting with ASI120MM only and starting the guide the MaxIm becomes very unresponsive. Every button press takes a few seconds, and operation like moving dialogs or adjusting sliders are very hard to achieve. Also when guiding with PHD and PHD2 and with ASI120MM connected via ASCOM driver the software is very laggy and unresponsive during guide process.
And I cannot actually use MaxIm now to guide with ASI120MM and QHY9 as main camera because system freezes and crashes after few minutes (when downloading frame from main camera).
We tested ASI120MM as guider in MaxIm also with Atik383L+ and Atik314E connected as main cameras - the software is still very laggy, but does not crash at least. The laptops used were different with Intel DualCore CPUs, 4-8GB RAM, all had Win7 32bit. We have not noticed anything like this before with QHY5 or other guide cams. Can you advise any solution?
