Depends on your hardware.

When you open the App Store .app application and do a search for ASIAIR, do you see a tabbed switch that says "Mac Apps" and "iPhone and iPad" apps at the top?

If you do, it should list ASIAIR app under the"iPhone and iPad" tab. If not, your Mac is not using the Apple "M" series processors, and there is no way to emulate the ARM instruction set to run the ASIAIR iOS app.

Keep in mind that some ASIAIR functions (like pinch zoom) are not available if you only have a mouse. You need a track pad on your Mac to pinch zoom.

Thanks all for the clarification. My MAC is a couple of years old and does not have the M chip so I guess I can't use it for home based observing. Not a real problem though as the ASIair works perfectly on my iPad. (Although at times it would have been nice to access things via my desktop).

There is an Android emulator called BlueStacks which runs on macOS but not on macOS Ventura. I have tried installing Android in Parallels 18 on macOS Ventura, which works but the ASIAir app doesn't start in it.

bluespeck Today I installed Android X86 9.0-r2 in Parallels 19 and I got the ASIAir app running in it now. Thought you might want to know.
