With a lens (or a telescope) you can record day time movies of things in sight.
As for solar imaging it's not that good. White light would work, although color camera is not good at this (if you use also filters like Baader Solar Continuum). With H-alpha solar telescopes you may get non-removable strong Newton rings (artifacts) as this camera has a Micron sensors and most of them are affected. And also mono is much better for such imaging.
