Noise

Yesterday was first light for my ASI120MM. I experienced what appears to be noise in the form of horizontal lines periodically flashing across the image, most notably at higher shutter speeds and higher gain settings. I'm using FireCapture, Window 7, and the USB port. I also have a Skynyx camera and don't experience this problem when using it under the exact same conditions. I've attach an 18 second video so anyone can see what I'm referring too. I'm using the camera on a Coronado solar scope and noticed it most when using a higher gain as required to capture the proms. If anyone has any ideas I'd appreciate hearing from you. I've written ZWO but haven't heard back yet.

BTW, I also noticed very significant Newton Rings with this camera, again not evident with the exact same conditions when using my Skynyx. I'll worry about this later, right now I want to figure out if I might have a defected camera causing the noise issue.

Just realized .mov files aren't allow. Added a .jpeg still instead.

sorry for later reply, did notice your post

we'd better open our email to let's more people knows how to solve this problem

ASI120 will become slower when over exposure

so we need to turn down "USB Traffic" value to make it runs normal in such case
