AM5 Mount Guide Settings

If I change the guide rate on my AM5 thru my PC to 0.8 x sidereal, does this setting become embedded in the mount when I use the ASIAir, or does it always default back to 0.5 x sidereal? Also, why can't the guide rate be adjusted thru the ASIAir?

ASIAir will default use 0.5 even you set 0.8 by ascom before, becasue ASIAIR want to make the settings easy for user.
